in each test step where we want to do input (provide a stimulus), also be prepared to deal with output
(an observation).

solved in the sense that
  • the interfaces in JTorX now support this
  • the adapters for 'real programs' now support this

however, the simulator (adaptor) does not implement this ( see Bug #122)
