Abstract

Energy pro ling is the analysis of the energy usage of applications.This can be useful for developers aiming tomake their applications more energy ecient. An energypro ler is an application that can aid in this analysis.There are multiple energy pro lers available. Thereis however, to our knowledge, no literature comparing Androidenergy pro lers, and no survey of papers on thissubject.In this paper, an analysis is given of the functionalitiesthat a set of energy pro lers o ers, and a comparison ismade between these pro lers on several areas.
